The Bothy was delightfull & charming, it was more than we expected. It was comfortable and cosy. The garden is beautifull and the fishing was good, the locals extended a warm and friendly welcome, and Clun is very pretty and quiet. If you want to escape the rat race for a time, we recommend the Bothy 100%.

The locals are friendly and good food can be had at the local pubs and restaurants. The Bothy is a very unusual and cosy cottage for two, a lovely conversion, well furnished and the cottage and the main house have an interesting history. The Bothy is situated in an excellent area for touring the Shropshire countryside.

The location was excellent for local amenities (2 good pubs both serving good food, excellent butchers and other shops etc). Plenty of good walks straight from the cottage and many places of interest to visit in the vicinity.

It has real charm, and being set in beautiful countryside we hardly used the car at all. We set out from the cottage on some superb walks and we would be pleased to recommend it to our friends!
